Jelqing is considered one of the more advanced male enhancement exercises because it requires mastery of the basic stretch. The exercise involves milking motions performed for 5-10 minutes each day for 2-5 days in a week; each exercise session requires warming up and cooling down for 5 minutes each for safety reasons.
The results are satisfactory – up to 2 inches increase in length and 0.5 inches increase in girth.
Simple 5 Steps Jelqing
Because of the advanced nature of the jelqing exercise, you must carefully understand the steps outlined below before actually performing them. You should also take it easy for the first few tries so as to allow your penis to become accustomed to the motions.
You can perform stretching exercises in between jelqing sessions, too.
- Lubricate your penis
Apply a small amount of lubricant on your hands, rub them together to warm them up, and then apply on your penis. You can use baby oil, Vaseline, or Enlarger for the purpose.
- Erection level of your penis
Bring your penis to the recommended erection level (i.e., 50-75%); 100% erection is not advisable because of the risk of injuries.
- Use the OK grip
Out your thumb and pointer finger in an OK grip.
- Grip your penis
With your fingers in an OK grip, place them around the base of your penis.
- Move up your penis
Using light pressure on your grip, gradually move it up your shaft in a manner that mimics milking motions on a cow’s teats. The idea here is to push blood up your penis without causing pain.
Stop your OK grip just directly below your glans, which represents a single cycle. Make the OK grip with your other hand, place it on the base of your penis, and repeat the upward motion.
You are well-advised to follow a jelqing routine, which is similar to exercise routines. Your risks for injuries, such as penile fractures, will be reduced when you adopt warm up and cool down exercises before and after, respectively, the actual milking motions required in the jelqing method.
As a beginner, you can perform jelqing every other day then progress to five days on with two days off (i.e., rest). Give your penis a rest from the jelqing lest it becomes injured in any way.
Think of weight training exercises: You have to give your muscles time to recover and this is true for penile enhancement exercises.
For each session, you should adopt the following 25-minute routine: (do it just before sleeping or while watching television for convenience).
- 5 minutes of warm up
You can take a hot shower, or use a heating pad, or wrap a clean small towel dipped in warm water. Apply the pad or towel on your penis for five minutes.
- 5 minutes of penis stretches
Use the basic penis stretching method. Bring your penis to the desired erection level of 50-75%. Retract your foreskin, grasp your penis behind its glans, and start pulling forward.
Hold the stretch for 10 seconds, relax your pull, and start the process again. Be sure to pull your penis to the left, right, upwards and downwards in the basic stretching routine.
- 10 minutes of the basic jelq
Refer to the above steps.
- 5 minutes of warm down
Apply a heating pad or hot wrap to your penis to allow it to cool down.
- Change the angle of your penis when jelqing depending on the part you want to stretch.
- Start with a 3-second jelqing rate per stroke. You can then increase it to 5-10 seconds per stroke as you become more experienced.
- Change your grip from the standard OK grip to the overhand OK grip. You can also slightly rotate your grip from left to right and vice versa.
Jelqing works because it applies stress and pressure on the penile tissues, thus, forcing it to become larger, longer and bigger over time. Just be sure to not overdo it lest your penis become injured.
