In a nutshell, penis size does not matter! But in a world where supersized cars, meals, and muscles are the order of the day, most men still believe in the superiority of size over skill when it comes to their ability to satisfy women in bed.
In contrast, penis size does matter but you will be surprised to whom it really matters.
It’s not the women but the men themselves who engage in juvenile comparisons about their penis size with the basis for comparisons being porn stars with extra-large and extra-long tools of the trade – truly, an unrealistic comparison when you come to think about it since not all porn stars are as gifted.
Let’s take a look at the reasons why penis size does not actually matter as much as you believe it should when it comes to sexual performance and satisfaction.
But when you still feel inadequate down there, you have effective penis enlargement methods like supplements aka pills, traction devices, and manual exercises (e.g., jelqing) that can add a few inches to your man tools.

It’s All In Your Head
Let’s start with the scientific facts and figures about average penis size for men around the world – adult men, to be exact. In a comprehensive worldwide study of over 40 independent research projects on penis size, scientists have come up with general guidelines stating that:
- The average erect size of an adult penis is between 5.5 and 6.2 inches in length
- The average girth of an erect adult penis is between 4.7 inches and 5.1 inches
Unless your penis is extraordinarily short (i.e., micropenis, a medical condition) or extraordinarily long (i.e., gifted with genes), then your erect penis should fall into the range. In the end, your belief that your penis is shorter than average is all in your head!
And here’s the surprising thing – women are more concerned about skill than about size since even a long penis can be wielded so ineptly as to be useless in giving female satisfaction.
It’s Also In The Eyes Of The Beholder
Let’s just say that you are in a locker room with the guys where everybody is buck naked with their erections in full display. Will you be able to accurately identify your buddy’s penis size (i.e., length and girth) to within 1/4 of an inch?
Probably not unless you are an engineer with an excellent eye for accurate measurements, no tape measure and ruler necessary.
This is the same with the woman you are having sex with – she will most likely be unable to accurately judge the length and girth of your penis from sight alone, not even from using her fingers and hands as guide.
Don’t sweat it unless your penis is significantly smaller (under 4 inches when erect) or significantly larger (over 7.5 inches when in full flag) than average.
Furthermore, there’s also the matter of visual perspective. Your vantage point of looking at your erect penis while looking down at it will be so much more different than when your sex partner is looking up at it while in a kneeling position and ready to perform oral sex.
You should also consider that women are more likely to choose men with average size penises yet with above-average skills than men with above-average penises yet with sub-par skills. The former are more likely to give multiple orgasms than the latter, pure and simple.
It’s In The Vagina, Too
But that’s not all. In an average woman’s vagina, the first third part closest to the open has all the nerve endings that register all the pleasurable sensations. As such, an above-average penis will provide for similar sensations as an average penis, all other things like sexual foreplay being equal.
Get this, too: In a recent survey, majority (90%) of women preferred a wider penis than a longer one because the latter does little in enhancing their physical pleasure.
Again, you can always choose penis enlargement methods like pills and traction devices but, in the end, it’s your sexual skills and confidence that matters the most.
